I have a 2008 Prowler 650 HI bought it used but only had about 50 hrs on it. I've had it about a year so I need to start doing some basic maintenance Oil changes etc.

Good Machine! The 650's seem to be very dependable! Do you have a owners, and service manual? How many miles, and what type of riding do you do? Where are you located? Stay in touch on the forum, awful lot of info available! Plus entertainment!

Types of oil always starts some good discussions here, I use Arctic Cat oil. Depending on your type of riding (dusty conditions) you may have to clean and oil your air filter more often to keep dirt out of the engine and running smooth. I change my diff oil once a year or after running it through deep water or mud for extended time to make sure it's not milky looking, it's cheap insurance to protect them.
