the clutches is a weak point on the cats, it works flawlessly for a stock bike in normal working conditions, but for racing, and spirited driving it lacks in performance. the clutches just weren't made for racing, but after some clutch work you can make your bike do whatever you want it to. you can give it back all the pep it lost with the extra weight additions, plus some. you can also raise the top speed by a good 15mph if you have enough motor to pull it with clutch machining. getting the clutch dialed in is one way to REALLY wake up the bike.

RDH, I had a 650xt . I put a big bore kit, carb, cam, intake,Dynatek CDI. Got it all from Hunterworks. Good pricing, real nice people, and good service.
