The first time I used my brakes I thought the world was ending! LOL I think the 650 has U-joints, dropping the rear driveshaft is fairly easy, once to drop the skid plate off the back, you have all kinds of room. Changing rotors has a 50/50 chance of curing the noise issue. Just my thoughts! I use my brakes very lightly, my pads are still good going on 6,500 miles. If I really apply pressure I can get the noise when stopping. I'm old, worn out, can't see, and married, so little things don't bother me!
