I don't personally have one, but the guys on here complain about the tie rods and steering rack being flimsy. I believe you have to change the whole steering rack if you bend a tierod.

No you can replace just the tie rod if you bend one, but is is a common misconception that you can't because of the parts catalog. It depends on what you plan to do. On the forums you will here about all the problems and not as much of the good things. A few people with the most early models had a head gasket problem, and the tie rods can be weak. Tell us what you looking to do and we can tell you about any possible problems you run into. I have sold quite a few XTZs and the problems comming back to me have been few.

They are no different then all the other side by sides out there. There are a few problems with them because the engineers don't seem to get the fact that some of us drive these things like dirt bikes. They advertising it as the Baja 1000 winner etc.. so they should build them a little tougher. Call Chris at EAAC in Arizona if you want a great deal on one.

2009 Prowler XTZ 1000 with a few modifications. Needs paint & powder coating.
