Hello from AZ

I am posting this for my dad who will be reading and getting information. He just bought an 08 Prowler, and is interested in making it ride a bit smoother for his (almost 78 yr) old bones... I will get it for posting that but its the truth. I found the area on suspension and am going to have him read it. If anyone has time to offer suggestions I made a short cut for him so he will be logging in. Thanks Cindy (evil daughter) HAHAHAH!

Welcome aboard.

He will enjoy the sport very much. There are many things you could do for the Prowler that would make it ride smoother for him. Start at the foundation with the tires. Some tires ride rough and bounce and some are smooth. Lower air pressure helps in the rocky stuff but not to low because you can get pinch flats or loose a bead. The shocks can be changed out for some piggy back or remote res type that would allow you more adjustabilty with the valving etc. It's all in the valving for the most part. There are many aftermarket seats that would be much more comfy then the low back junk these things come with. Some extra padding on the cage would be good as well to protect the bones. I hope some of the other members chime in because there is a lot of knowledge here. Good luck to you and your father and let's see some pictures.

Regards,

Thanks ya'll for the welcome. He also has a bum knee so he needs all the leg room that the Prowler has. Dad figured out how to read the post and is enjoying the site.
