New to me Prowler 1000 XTZ

Hello folks, new member not new rider 1st UTV though.
Love to ride, love the outdoors and love to camp.
Bought a used but well maintained Prowler 1000 XTZ Baja this last Friday then Saturday she was on the trails in north central PA.
Here it is the day i picked her up from the dealership:

It also raises a question, when no load is in the box, should the rear arms be level or slight arched? I was going to adjust the preload to put some arch back in the unloaded suspension.

Welcome to the site! Great looking Prowler you got there! I have my shocks set in the neutral position, my rear A Arms are pointed slightly down at the wheel with no load on the rear. There is about 3/4 to 1 inch adjustment on the preload. Just make sure that all of the weight is off the shock before adjusting. Several reports of shock damage has resulted from adjusting them under load. The tabs break off!

Nice! Gotta love the square tubes!
Gary, we have someone new again, so we can spend his money! We spend your money wisely... And lots of it!

First you have to buy a lift kit, bigger tires, wheels, suspension seats, tops, cargo cover, heater, alternator kit. What else am I forgetting, guys?

Well already have the led light bar waiting in its box, synthetic winch line is on its way, looking at trail armor doors and rzr take off seats, the interco reptiles are fairly decent so have to wait for the 28"s. Took this on some tight pa north wood muddy technical trails and instantaneously knew I would never want another atv again!

The shocks on the XTZ are threaded collar not tabbed like yours RD. I run my A-Arms with "no arch" and gives a great ride over the bumps, I also have 350lb springs in the rear and the rear springs moved to the front..Another common mod.

Good point on the shocks Tim! Now I have to go look at them! Wonder if they will adapt to the 700's? Who makes those shocks, do you have any info?
