New from AB Canada

Hey all........I actually joined up here back in Sept. as I was beginning my search for a SxS as a possible trade for a tractor that I had and had not used for a couple years. I needed up becoming a new owner of a 2010 1000 XTZ with less than 900 km on it. Has hard roof, Kolpin split front windshield, rear lexan window, RzR S seats, Swamp Lite tires, a mis-wired stereo, and a love of pushing snow after I just recently added a MotoAlliance 72" Denali plow. Seems everyday of Feb gave me a chance to start her up and push snow. Today the wind had hard packed my acreage driveway in bad enough that I had to dig out a stuck 4x4 truck. I then commenced on clearing the drive with this incredible machine. I am amazed at how much snow this thing will move!! She starts in -35 and doesn't seem to have issues with the battery being run dead by using the winch so much.

So all-in-all I am a happy Prowler owner and have enjoyed this site for the past 5 months as I looked into the good's and the bad's of the Prowlers and am impressed with the knowledge that is not only here but is also shared.

welcome to the house there Mr Paxx ... just be sure to use low range for belt life when plowing and you love the machine for a long time

wonder if the battery is a upgraded battery as the factory ones are a bit small for constant use , if not you have a good one ! I have a Odyssey 925 amp hr. battery in mine and keep it on a NOCO maintenance charger when not in use , it's mounted in the factory battery box BTW.

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

Hey there RD........Thanks for the warm welcome here!!! I know I'll be here often to see how everyone does things. I've already got a thread of yours on your custom door build bookmarked!! Love all the info that I learned here before I even turned a key!!! My previous, and still currently owned rides are a 1987 2wd Suzuki 300 quad and a 1996 Kodiak 4x4........both of them are foot shift machines without all the clutch and transmission things that go on in all these newer machines. So another wonderful chance to learn.

Gtoyer.......Mr. Paxx had me looking around for my dad.....lol!! My dear Mrs. Paxx I may get old but she's given up on me ever growing up!!!! I'm definitely using low range.... it's is one of the things learned here some months ago. I made sure my youngest son, who, along with his wife and daughter, lives on the place also knew to use low range for any kind of work before he even sat in it...... The battery is an aftermarket, but not one of the Odyssey's. If it fails that is already the one in my sights. I rigged up a maintenance charger through the accessory port and works well.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
