'06 650 XT H1 Happy New owner

I am happy with my purchase of a used '06 650 XT. It runs well. But has some rattling in the rear-end. The previous owner says it from the braking system. Some part near a spring he said is what is making the noise. But other than that. It runs great and has exceeded all my expectations. I am happy I found a place to talk with other owners about my prowler.

welcome
There is some great information here
And the members are more than willing to help.

Seems to be the norm with the rattling, there are several threads on the issue.

Welcome to the family. I've been told the rattling is from the belt and clutches under braking. I've also heard it's the disk brake. Either way most all do it and i don't think its nothing serious. Mine has done it since day 1 when i bought it new.
