Welcome to the site.
I have a 2007 650 with 400 miles on it and i cant seem to get my parking brake to hold as well, I have adjusted it many times and it seems to get better but will not hold on hills.
I have heard of some others on here that installed a line lock in thier machine, and sounds like a good and cheap idea.

But thats just my 2bits on that, I am sure sombody will chime in with a fix for you.
Good luck!

The best way to fix the parking brake is to install a line lock, all the parking brakes pre 2010 are junk. do a search on parking brakes and you will see that this has be talked about the problems and fixes for your machine.

Welcome to the site. My 07 prowler emergency brake has never worked. I've never really needed it though. When you turn it off in gear it won't roll anyway.

you can download the service manual from this site. It explains how to adjust the parking brake. For some it doesn't seem to work. I did it a few weeks ago and it holds realy good. Every owner should have this manuel. This site will save you $$$ and get you educated. I can't thanks these guys enough....
