Need some advice might have had its last ride.

Hello, everyone new to the group and need some help. I have a 06 Prowler xt 650 h1 and long story short. I was riding on my back property with my son in sugar sand "Florida". I typically don't dog on my stuff but decided to power break it just a bit to get the 30" silverbacks digging. Didn't realize it was in 4x4 and blew the front differential input gear. So it locked up and just grabs for a second and starts jerk violenty. Well after I pulled it up to my shop and my son pointed out oil on the skid plate. Once removed to investigate some how some way there is a small chip in the bottom of my crankcase and has a slow drip. Engine still runs great, starts right up no knocking, grinding or anything. Sounds great and still runs great. Long in the short IS MY ENTIRE ENGINE TRASH? My kids love this thing and I've put alot of money into it. A new engine mean it's had its last ride. Between the differential and a engine just parts is close to 4k
