Hello everyone,
This site looks great cant wait to dig in.

I currently have a 08 prowler xtx 700 H1 and a polaris ranger rzr 170 for the shorties.
I bought the prowler new and the only really issues I have is the jerkiness when slowly taking off, Any fixes for that? cuz my folks cant ride it like that.

Also the parking brake is useless ,machine just rolls n rolls till it finds a bush to rest against.(brakes look great still) I assume that is probably an easy fix.

And last, Lately on occasion when starting the machine sometimes it takes an extra couple seconds and once in a while will die right after starting,
I cleaned the spark plug and this fixed it for a few days but it seems to be coming back slowly .
The prowler is mainly used for hauling stuff, run too and from tree stands, cameras, food plots ,so its a lot of stop and go ,a lot of turning on and turning off type driving. As well as just ripping around .
I just recently fixed my exhaust the bolts rattled free from the manilfold and had to put in a new gasket there and at the muffler. but until I got the parts I was driving it around and it would ocassionly backfire , hopefully this didnt damage anything.
Well any help would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to being a member and thankyou for allowing me to be on your site.

As far as mods
just a homemade windshield of plexiglass.
Dan

Welcome to the site. There are several threads on here about the jerkiness of your machine. Should be easy to find.

Welcome to the site, the jerky starts is the rear diff. I have a 2009 700 xtx and mine does the same thing. The only fix for that is to change your ring and pinon and axels, kind of pricey. the xtx is the only one that has that rear end it is called a turf saver. Their are several threads about this rear end, use the search to find them and you will get the info you are looking for.

Your Arctic Cat dealer should have a fix for the jerking.
