Unhappy 2000 Arctic Cat ZR 700

I've got a problem with my Cat. It is a 2000 Arctic Cat ZR 700 snowmobile and I took her out today for the first time this season and noticed a problem when I gave her the throttle. After doing all the standered checks, she started and idled perfect. When I gave her the throttle and started to move she began to jump (or jolt). My first thought was an obstruction or the belt. I inspected under the front end, it was clear and then the belt in which was good as well. I left the belt shroud up and tried to move and noticed that when the drive clutch engaged and then jumped the belt clutch jumped out and then back in. I took her out for a run and it ran fine, this problem only happens when I start off. I'm not very mechanically inclined but can manage to do mostly anything myself but would rather find out what the problem was now in case I ignored it and something worse happened out on the trail in the middle of nowhere. Any help would be very much appreciated
