cold starting

I have a 2008 prowler 700. i am having trouble starting when cold it spinns over fine ,but will not fire has soon has I connect it to a battery charger it fires up . I HAVE changed out battey tried 2 new differant new ones anyone have any ideas?

Try cycling your key twice before cranking over, depending on how long it's been sitting you may need the second cycle to prime everything back up.

Also wouldn't hurt to check your TPS setting to make sure it's centered when at operating temp.

Mine will do the exact same thing, battery is down a bit, enough so it won't fire. What I have done is bought a solar panel charger and leave it plugged in all the time,acts like a trickle charger and kepps the battery topped up, never had a problem since!

Throttle position sensor. Fuel injected prowlers only.
