Hello, from kentucky.

hello, im bigears. i bought an 08' 650 prowler last november. I love my prowler, but it does seem to have a few problems, that i can not get the dealer to fix, they just try to tell me that, all the prowlers have these problems. my gear selector hangs between gears, we have adjusted several times, but nothing seems to help. the other problem, is the rear brakes, they make the awfullest noise, when i brake. sounds like a bad rattling noise comming from the drive line brake. if anyone can help me with these problems, i would sure apprieciate it.

Welcome big ears,You should be able to get the shifting adjusted right but the prowler might have to be good and broke in.As far as the rear brakes they make a spring kit for it that solves the problem.I don't remember who it is that make the kit though. Some one will jump in that know who makes it.

Welcome to a great forum. I have an 08 Prowler with about the same problems. Had to adjust the shifter, after it has warm up starts to shift better. I am from Northern Tn.

Welcome from Dragonfire Racing. Our prowlers seem to be hard shifting as well but they do get better when they warm up a bit, as far as the brake is concerned I have never come across that with our cars, I'll ask the techs here and see if they might have a fix.
