Another New AZ Guy

Hi all. My name is Matt and I am in Flagstaff, AZ. So my father in law has a 650 Prowler that has been sitting for two years due to engine problems. He's a pipeline welder and has been out of state working. So....being pretty mechanical, but knowing nothing about Prowlers, I decided to make it a project. I pulled it to my house, tore the engine out, tore it down and found the problem. I bought a bottom end and used my good top end to make a whole running motor. It's now back in and running, and I am just going through it trying to make everything cherry again. It's amazing what time and sitting will do. Although it's not mine, I can use as much as I want. Who knows maybe I'll buy my own now that I know quite a bit about them. This site has been great I've learned a lot from you all. I plan to get it all street legal and drive around. Flagstaff is perfect for that in the summer!

Garage
Welcome, I rather ride trails more often if I could but the street helps fill the void. I drive mine almost everyday around town in sun, rain, sleet, and snow doesn't matter....but a windshield wiper sure would be nice.

We are blessed in Northern Michigan, all counties north of Lansing have adopted an ORV Law, Basically you can ride on any road except State, and Federal Numbered Routes. Countie roads are legal! I trail ride daily, and I've yet to use a trailer to get to different trail systems! Many (great) secondary roads!

2009 700EFI XTX, , AC Winch, 2010 Dust Shield EPI Sport Utility Clutch Kit , Street Legal, Cage chopped 2 ", Aluminum Diamond Plate Trim, Relocated Factory Bladders with covers, 5 Pt. Harness installed, Bed Tiedown System, Scat Pro-Car Seats, Secondary Battery installed, Oil Pressure, Oil/CVT Temperature, Volt Meter & Water Temp Gauges installed with Dash Plate, Bighorns, ITP Black 212 Wheels. Tonneau cover. 750 Big Bore Kit, Web Cam, and Rocker Arms.
