I saw something like that on Country Cat's site. Those deals on leftover models are temping. With the money I have invested in mine I could have had a new one!
Update:
Here's a link to the ones I saw, it's a good deal but if I would have waited for it I wouldn't have had the 5 years of fun I've had with the one I got

Pretty good price! Tempting, but then I'd have to start all over! I'd lose my Michigan Street Legal VIN! If anything, I'd buy a good used square tube 1000! I could transfer my VIN!

I paid 6,500 for my used Prowler 5 years ago. It came with a full windshield, complete soft cab, and a winch. The fried engine because of the failed driven gear really increased my investment in this one.

Great price for the value! Make it very hard to buy the current year models!

I'm a big believer in letting someone else take the hit on depreciation when it works for you , this is a real good deal IMHO

the changes year to year on a good model are so small it's well worth that wait or looking for this type of deal again MHO

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit

3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

I paid about $14,000 for mine back in 2008/2009. It was the only Baja model I could find for sale in north Texas.

From what I have read in this forum over the years, it appears that the 1000s are the only twin cylinder models, the others all being singles. Is this correct?.
