Ok so I went to my local emssion station and this is the skinny.
I do emission inspections at work and renew my certs annual. They say that July of 2011 motorcycles in Maricopa county will be exempt. We will see, hope this helps

1) You have to unload and drive the UTV through.
2) Need your current Reg. paper work
3) They perform the typical motor cycle idle test and cap visual.
4) Cost is $19

Ahh we are too close to kamifornia. Their bullshit is trickling in. I guess I will be registering mine in Safford or somewhere else other than Maricopa county.

so what your saying is that every year you will have to have your emissions checked,is that for utvs that have plates to drive on the roads.

Yes every year noting cars only have to go every other year. It was suppose to change to where motorcycles are exempt - which includes UTVs - but that has not been put into law yet (2 years later)
