Yeah, there were some loggers that were scrambling last night to get several loads of large logs off a local farmers's field. That field is gonna be mush in a few days.

87 today with 20 mph wind.

91 tomorrow with 20 mph wind.

NWS red flag fire warning activated.

Record heat, but I was able to get a lot done on upgrading my mobile hunting blind (installing heat and A/C).

50s on Sunday and Monday with possible rain on Monday. We NEED rain badly.

Update @ 3:30 AM on Sat: 62 degrees and 11 mph wind

Update @ 2:00 PM on Sat: Doesn't look like it will get into the 90s after all. Its now 86 with 7 mph winds. I am really enjoying being outside today

Update @ 6 PM on Sat: 1 degrees with 6 mph wind. That should change quickly as temperature will drop overnight, winds will be 25 to 35 mph, with gusts over 40 mph.

And now back to Winter (?), chance of freezing rain tomorrow! This has been the worst winter I can ever remember for mud! All of the secondary unpaved roads are a disaster! My driveway has finally settled down now that all of the frost is out! Got sand/gravel/equipment waiting for frost laws to come off! I'd love to pave it, but don't really plan on more than another year or two here!

Another 80+ degree day here. Wind was mild yesterday, but 25 to 35 mph today with gusts over 40 mph. High wildfire risk is keeping the Prowler parked.

A cold front hits later tonight. Temps tomorrow going from 50, with strong winds again, in the afternoon to 20 overnight.
