don't know the extent of the surgery , but hope for a speedy recovery

years ago when I had my rotator cuff rebuild it took a full year for the total healing... there are some rehab tricks to help , let me know if I can pass them on to ya.

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

back to work in a few days, but then it was managerial work not physical work .. couple months before lifting much of anything at all [in my case they totally cut bone and reattached in 3 places].

but the total healing before it got to where I had full use was a year... and it's still not much better than before , that is why I didn't do the other one. Oh the joys of youth and destroying your body LOL [yup I was one of the can't tell me kids]

....yep, been there. Two of the four rotators torn and bi-cep ruptured (lifestyle injury) from aging. Surgery Dec. '11, still loosening up after 5 months of therapy. Starts getting better around a year post op. Keep ice on it. I had a shoulder pack that keep a small round cooler pumping ice water around it. Worked great while it was on it. One of the hardest surgeries I have had to recover from. Good luck!
