Smile Utv Covers(outside use.)

Gary H. here. Do others like myself have to leave Their Prowler(or other) outside during nasty weather? I haven't an indoor storage. Hard to find a cover on the Market that will Stand-up to NASTY, wind, rain, snow, and ice! Made my second cover and used heavier material for this coming winter season! Put a pic. in my Album(if interested to look.)

2009 Arctic Cat Prowler 700 XTX EFI Steele Blue. 3000lbs. winch- tilt wheel. Street legal. windshield, full cloth cover. over-ride.

A friend on mine who has a Rhino and now a PoPo [RZR] bought a tuff shed to house ... nice lil buildings .. might need a lil extra support for heavy snow area's [ MHO ]

A cover beats the cost of a structure! Do like people used to do to us when we were building cars, drop it off for repair, and don't pick it up until spring! This was done to us more than once! LOL

The City won't allow that type of structure.(lean-to. that is). They made new ordinances here! And they like TAXING everything!

So you're not even allowed to build a small building,or buy a building that is pre-built.

We have the same problem here in town, the size of of permanent storage structure is based on the square footage of the house and if it's permanent it has to be a certain distance from property lines. Portable is our best option. There are also a lot of restriction on parking, if it's in front or side of the house it must have concrete or pavement(no gravel driveways allowed), in the back a good base of gravel so it doesn't sink. I'm ready to move outside the city limits so I can do what I want on my own property.

Rural living is great! Downside is some people collect lawn art! We pretty much do what we want on our property, after looking around the area it is pretty much wide open on what you can get away with!

Garage
Mine has just been using the cover from AC since new in 2010 and it does a great job. It is the heavy duty road cover and I really like it.

The only time it is in the garage is when I am working on it or the occasional thaw out after plowing a lot of wet slushy snow.

I do sometimes leave it locked up in a conex at my remote cabin but for 98% of its life it is outside with the factory cover on it.

I live 10 miles from town, the town i'm close to has the same B.S Ordinance's a structure has to be so many feet from the property line, and most of the yards are small so that doesn't leave much room for a building,i think it's B.S Because you pay taxes on the property.......lol not sure me and the city ordinance codes would get along...lol I like to bend the rules just a little......being 15 minutes from all the major stores and still in the country I feel blessed, and I worked 5 miles from home for 20 years.......
