That would be nice as it is better than the cobbled up mess we have.

Garage
Companies seem to be paying a lot more attention to quality of fit and finish of cabs.

They keep going and they will start exceeding the cost of a light truck! I only gave 21,000 for my Toyota!

Wonder if my Prowler title would be accepted it other states? In Michigan I was allowed to apply for a new title (now banned) after I installed certain equipment. My Title now reads 2014 Assembled Vehicle, Pick-up body style. It allows me to license my Prowler as a street legal vehicle. I've looked at several other states, and their motor vehicle code has provisions for kit cars, and home builds (thinking about the VW sand buggies from years past!), many of these provisions were driven by street rodders, but the governing bodies really don't have a clue when it is presented to them! I was lucky on mine, I had a friend that is in law enforcement do the initial inspection for equipment, a great person at the Secretary of State's Office, and good timing! The whole process took a little over 6 months, but well worth the wait! I would check on home builds in your state, it may help! Michigan BTW is looking into the now in effect ban.
