T-rex clutch.

does anyone know how the clutch system set up is on a T-REX I believe it is different than the articcat, and does the T-REX have a wet clutch. I think it has cam weights instead of rollers.

I don't know a whole lot about the them but I do know they do have different clutching. they have a more "tradidional" primary that is sprung and I thing your right on the cam weight thing. You may want to check online for a parts schematic to see exactly what they run.

2010 700XTX Orange -- Custom snorkel, Diff. vent mod (dry cavity), Bighorn 2.0's on custom painted "blacked out" rims, HMF Swamp Series XL with turn down, /// airdam stage 5, Some EPI goodies, Dynatek FS, Chrome headlight covers, Flip out windshield. "Cooler Hauler" ... Sold for another toy but still hangin around

The Teryx4 clutching is amazing. You have to be careful the Cat clutch rollers don't like heat and belt overloading. Use low range for those hard hill climbs or heavy towing.

I was told by Bi Polar racing which won the Baja 1000 with the Prowler 700. About this clutch trick. While driving at a set speed very your rpm every once in a while to let the rollers shift so the same spots on the rollers don't contact the sheave all the time while your driving.

My brother has a 2012 Teryx. He just bought a new Dalton clutch setup for it. The Teryx clutch is quite a bit different ( and a huge pain in the ass to get to) than the Prowler.

09 Prowler 700 XTX, Dynatek FS cdi and coil kit, Maxxis Bighorns, Warn 3500 lb winch, factory windshield/wiper and roof, Trail Armor doors, cage chopped 4", BEARD rear bench seat w/ 4 point harnesses, custom built extended cage. Rockford Fosgate RFX9400 marine stereo, Scosche 6.5' 3-way speakers in custom built overhead console and MB Quart NAU260 marine amplifier. Cobra CB. Sunpro volt, oil pressure and water temp gauges. Custom gauge plate built by RD. Peel 7 Seal lined doghouse.
