we love to night ride ! during this time of year we do alot of it and thats one of the big reasons i bought my LED light bars .good lights make the best night riding ! we usually leave out of the house around 5 and head out to the hills behind my house , find a wash , cook some steaks and have a few beers then head home when the beer gets low . weve been known to come back well after 2 am

where i live i literay have to walk across the road and we are into open desert ranchs and small hills covered with ranch roads, washes and trails with nobody around for miles .

I love night rides, my buddies and I go on them whenever we can. Usually we start out in the afternoon, ride for a few hours, stop about 7pm and have a BBQ, then ride again till 11pm, then campout and have a few brews. Sometimes we'll ride later (but not after drinking).

It's a different world, riding at night. Important things are either GPS, or someone that really knows the area, better than the back of their hands. At least that is if, the area you are riding has lots of trails criss-crossing.

Night rides are great. Like darryl said just be sure to have at least 1 hand held gps to help you navigate. I can't tell you how many people I have seen have to sleep in their UTV till the sun came out the next day. This happens a lot at the cinders in Flagstaff. Have fun!
