Trailer Side Board Stablizer Ideas Needed

I am planning on buying some 2x12 preasure treated boards and bolt them to 2x4 stakes and sit them in place on my flat bed trailer..

I have found that unless you secure the side boards to the front cross board and tail gate board that they are some what loose..

I would like to put a fastener on each corner that I can fasten easy and snug up tight..

Got any good ideas of a fastener that would do this for me.

thx for the thought ,I like the thought of bending something to work myself ..

I found this idea that I like very much and will see if I can fabricate something like them myself..If not I will just buy 4 sets of these and install them ..

With these fasteners I wouldn't have to unbolt anything when I wanted to take any of the ends or sides off to load the trailer..

What do you think of this set up?

Heres what I came up with for sideboards

Trailer and Artic CAt

corner Brackets that allow me to take the end off or just any one of them /or all

the next photos shows how the planks to load the Artic Cat or my lawn mower fasten to the trailer

I bolted a angle iron to the rear of the trailer and then drilled holes to able me to stick the bolts down thru the angle iron from the loading planks to secure the planks while loading and un-loading

I also cut out half rounds where the tie downs are welded to the trailer so I could access them with a straight up shot rather than over the top of the sideboards

Now I need to stain it ,,what color I am not sure but was thinking a shade of brown ? what do you think..Artic Cat is green ,truck is Red ,,lawn mower is Orange wife is white..LOL
