Magruder Corridor ride , wilderness area ride

wow what a great time , just got home from riding the Magruder Corridor with a group of friends for a weeks ride and camping . logged about 350 miles and saw some of Gods greatest work in the wilderness areas between the Frank Church and the Selway wilderness' in central Idaho .. met up with about 10 other riders from ATV Nation and another group of 30 from Southern Idaho all doing this historic trail . I pulled my Pac Rat trailer loaded like a rich OKIE lol got into a snow storm on the way out for a couple hrs .. was damn cold even with winter gear on as I had taken the top windshield half off do to the dust and left it home.

and two days before I left for that went on a ride and took the virginity of the A/C lol .. got tired and laid over on it's side for a rest LOL ... was going up a very steep rutted narrow trail and slipped off the bank into the rut and did a slow roll over on the driver side .. winched it back on the rubber side with a little cosmetic damage on the plastics and roll cage .. been a busy summer so far I've logged about 1500 miles and been in places many of my quad friends didn't want to go

the new Pit Bull Rocker tires were the cat's PJ's and did all I asked of them very happy with them !

some time you guys need to try something like this also , to say the beauty of the wilderness is amazing is an understatement when you stand at a ranger fire lookout and see for a hundred miles in every direction over jagged heavily treed mountains is humbling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

a friend of mine and I will be doing this ride again this summer , this time taking the ladies and hope to get reservations in the cabin , drive in from Darby and ride daily out from there ... the gals would be more into a "ride" like this where they could shower as needed LOL

my new friend is just getting back into the woods thanks to me and will have to break her in slow to sponge baths for a week or creek baths exposing herself to the critters LOL
