Hi , I’m new here and would love for someone to see if they can figure out this weird issue I’m having .
Short and sweet
The front diff actuator only seems to work in Reverse.
When I hit the 4x4 switch, I hear nothing until I place the handle into reverse. And it works fine . But when I place it into forward , I hear the actuator unwind . I’m usually pretty good with figuring these things out , until now (my slice of humble pie) - lol
I appreciate any help .

Never heard of anything like that. What happens when you use the diff lock switch?

Thanks for your reply . The diff lock made no changes . So I surmised it’s either a ground somewhere or a CPU issue .
I rewired the 2wd/4wd switch directly to the actuator, left the power and ground connected to the cpu and it works as intended.
This is just one of the many challenges I have with this machine . The previous owner did not take care of this machine at all. Lol
