I've noticed that Arictic Cat has updated its website with the new 09 line up. Under Prowlers they show that the 09 XT 650 H1 engine is EFI, can anyone confirm that, I haven't been to any dealer show rooms yet, the two in my area don't have any 09's on the floor to look as of now.

Hey Dentless, Hate to dispute, but I just looked at 2009 AC website and it said that the 650h1 is now EFI. I'm glad they went EFI.I wander if everthing is going that way? I didn't think they were either but my buddy said to look.I hate it when that happens!

I just pulled up the AC website again. No 650 EFI. All the others I mentioned are EFI. I would assume they will be dumping the 650 soon..............

Go to the 650H1 Prowler section and look up the "Model Features". It lists the engine as a 650H1EFI.
ARCTIC CAT - PROWLER XT 650 H1
You guys are right. I wonder why they don't put it in the name of the Prowler like they do on all the others? It is the only model without EFI in its name when you look it up. I really don't know why they would have both EFI motors. They have to be very equal in price and performance. I am curious about the 650EFI. Never heard of anyone talking about that motor.................

Hey guy's thanks for clearing this up. The new 09 650 is the machine I'm looking to purchase, and for the price it's a hell of a machine, 12" of ground clearance and 10.5" of suspension travel out of the box and now EFI, this seals the deal for me, I'm sold. Thanks for the input.
