Anyone else having this issue? My Prowler always starts up when cold. No issue. Once warmed up, if I shut it off... Wont start back up until it is completely cooled off. It turns over, but sounds like its not getting any fuel. Fuel pump ? but why would it start cold? Its very consistent. Thanks for your reply!

Vapor locked? How long has this issue presented itself? Check your battery voltage at the starter while cranking it over, you must have at least 10.5 volts or the battery/starter may be suspect. These things will not fire on low voltage.
Thanks Fairmont 79. Definitely not vapor locked. Again, always starts cold. Starts right up. I ended up putting a new battery in it. A quality one from PartsPlus. Does the same thing. When the engine is warm, it just turns over and over.. not getting fuel. But starts just fine when engine is cold.
How much fuel pressure do you have? EFI needs 43 psi minimum.
Im not sure how much pressure. I'd probably need to take into the dealer to find out. Do you think this might be in need of fuel pump replacement? or maybe filter...? Thanks for your input.
Dealer can verify the fuel pressure, or disconnect the fuel line at the motor and put a gauge on the line. Fuel line clips are available at most auto parts store, use the white Ford clips. You can remove the clip with a small screwdriver and reuse if careful.
