Does anyone know the performance numbers on a stock 700 H1 Prowler. Also what are some good performance up grades for it.

there are more accessories for them now on speedwerx.com
I have the Speedworx full exhaust, a full intake from PCP performance in Phoenix, AZ, and I just got my EFI controller from ATVonics in OR. The exhaust and intake work great, have not installed the EFI controller yet will post when it gets install next week and has a DYNO done to it. I installed a duners clutch kit. I can beat my two buds that have Rhino's a 08 and a 06; they have the same mods that I have.
I purchased clutch kit from Speedworx...if i was to do intake , exhaust or EFI controller i would go with them again..... they were very helpful and knowledgeable.
gdeez, did you go with the whole speed kit or whatever they call it( I think it was $1400) from Speedwerx?
No I just got the Exhaust from them. I found that PCP had the intake for about $300 less then speepwerx. I had my local shop order the clutch. The exhaust was about $400 or $440 intake was $110 with K&N filter and a Uni pre filter. The clutch was about $190.00 the efi controller was $240.00.
What year prowler do you have gdeez? Is it a 650? How does the exhaust sound?

I have a 08 XTX. The exhaust sounds great much deeper then stock. I added a couple of pics of the Prowler.

I have a 2009 prowler 700 xtx and a epi extreme clutch kit for 29.5" tire and bigger and hmp swamp serious exhaust and 30x10x14 mudlite tires and when i put it in diff lock it wont turn the tires over in a mud hole any ideas
gdeez, I really like you license plate mount and brake light.
blakester, do you mean only when trying to use the diff lock or does it always have trouble turning them in mud?
.........and is it doing this in low gear??

I have 30 inch lites 12 wide all around and with only reclocking the secondary and swaping in some 4:1 gears it turns them easy.
in low gear always does it when it 4wd and when diff lock is on
where did you get the gear from the dealer and if so is it the same type that they put in the 4 wheelers or is it just for the prowler

I just ordered the pinion for the 4:1 gear set, you can just change the pinion because both the 4:1 and the 3.6:1 ring gears have the same amount of teeth. You will have to get some custom shims made to keep your lash correct. If you go to the the High Lifter forum and look under the arctic cat section there is a pinned topic at the top which has a post in it that explains it all fairly well. If you decided to but the rings gears in as well just get them for a 09 650 prowler as they come with 4:1 gears from factory. Any 4:1 gears for cat will work.
You should also check out the post on shimming the primary this will give you a lower clutch ratio so it will spin the tire a little easier in heavy mud. What rpm stall spring came with your clutch kit.
Some thing still seems wrong. how does it turn the tires with no diff lock does it struggle, maybe some thing is binding. how did it run before you put the exhaust on, maybe its to rich or lean now and not making the hp it should. Is this real thick mud or watery.
