I bought a new '09 cat about 5 mos. ago and have been using it
going to ghost towns and mining areas around my area. I like my cat
over my Jeep Wrangler because it rides better over rough terrain and I
can see what is down in front because it doesnt have the engine hood
in the way.

I take it that you live in west Nevada. If so, I guess that you don't need to search a lot for land to ride on. Best of luck on your rides. I would love to find a few ghost towns that aren't tourist areas.

Im in west NV and most of the ghost towns are just mining sites now.
They have tried to plant poles around some of the holes in the ground
to prevent people or vehicles from falling in but not all. Thats way I like
the front view with the XTX. Ive gone up to some sites in high range
that I came down in low and was amazed that I made up it in high.
Says a lot for the hemi engine. I have the roll bar suport bars that mount
into the bed and kinda wish someone would have a bed cover for this.
It gets mighty dusty. I have to find a program that will down size my
1 meg jpegs to a reasonable size to post.
