ATVonics has been getting a lot of calls from your forums about our Prowler Long-travel kit's.

Ours kit's are CNC machined from 1.5 inch solid Billet Aluminum +4 wider than stock and only the back is set back +2 inches to give a great ride through the whoops without rear end kick up. The front remains in it's origional geometry so it corners tight with no understeer but is +4 wider in stance.

We utilize delrin bushings at all piviot points and have Uniballs at the wheel joints instead of heim joints. Uniballs are much stronger than heims, it's the same technology that desert racing trophy trucks use.

A super strong yet light weight billet A-arm suspension.

We also include huge oversized Turner axles with our kits forultim ate axle strength and duration.

Our kits are designed to work with most any shock system, KING, ELKA, FOX or even Walker Evans.

We can also custom hard coat anodize our A-arms.

We currently have them for both the XT and the XTX prowler and will have the Prowler XTZ 1000 in a couple weeks.

If you have any questions give us a call.

Does the +4 to the overall width or to the width of each side. Also does it add any extra ground clearance.

Prowler long-travel suspension

It's + 4 inches on each side for 8 inches total width increase (HUGE STABILITY.

It can give you more height if you want to set it up that way, pre-load the coils on the shocks, longer than stock length shocks differnt mounting points etc.

But we mostly set it up with some ride in, so you can cruise through the bumps and jump like crazy and land soft, letting your suspension take up the shock loads without transfering these loads into the frame, machine and eventially the ridder.

If you wanted to add height/clearance, would this affect the cv joints getting too hot as far as if you were to ride at a high speed on hard pack or does the added width prevent too harsh an angle on the cv's?

Yea the extra length helps out on the articulation angles of the axle shaft, but more importantly we use a super bad axle combination that is specially made for our suspension system.
We dont just add extra length axle bars to the stock CV joints, we have a custom made half shafts with huge over sized CV's and axle bars designed for long distance endurance without heating up with huge strength.

My axles are custom made by Daniel of Turner cycles, I've used a lot of axles and his are the best I've ever came across.

ATVonics will have a couple UTV's (RZR & Prowler) running are suspensions in the 2008 BAJA 1000 stay tuned.

Hey Chris, Hey Randy it's Rick,

I have just got some time to come catch up and do some reading today. I was thinking about a Long Travel set up for your Cat Chris. You could eat up the whoops at the hill with a set up like this.

Long travel Prowler

Nice machines.... (Chris and Rick) when you guys build a buggy you dont mess around. After talking with you guys the other day you may have one of the fastest Prowlers on the planet. (Very nice custom work) looking forward to seeing the pictures.

I think the only thing that may have a chance keeping up with your machine is maybe... maybe a Supercharged XTZ 1000.

Great talking with you guys.. we will work with you and get a custom set up that you can beat the snott out of.
