I just went online to order 4 Baja Cross for my 2009 prowler 700xtx. They said the Cross does not come in 26X9-14.

But they could supply me with a 26X10-14 for my front and the 26X11-14 for the rear.

My prowler is stock, anyone see any problem running these?

I installed 1" taller tires and it killed the performance of it,i don't think wider would hurt much but i would keep the weight close to the stock tires!!!!

You will be fine with the wider tires. Me and a few others have run them and they work just fine. You will feel the loss of power because the Baja Cross is an 8 ply tire and just about the heaviest one on the market. Do some searching and you will see my post on the weight etc..

OK, went back and searched all the old posts and flying121 items, I noted a few posts about running these. I did not see anyone post that after going to the front wider tire, anyone had problems, did note a small loss of power, but nothing bad noted. Did not know they were one of the heavies, but they sound like a durable tire, so off to the web page to order them, then some LED lights..

Rotating mass can be a huge power robber.. I just put a set of bighorn 2.0's on my xtx and the power loss wasn't too heartbreaking but next week i'm going to lighten up my rollers to hopefully gain back my losses in bottom end pull. PS.. after a good long run on the new rubber I would highly recommend these as well.. :) cheers

That's a good point. I run an ITP wheels that has a + 2 or 3 offset which may help keep the tire clear and pushed outwards a bit more.
