How does everyone charge their XTZ battery? On my XT, I simply added a charging harness to the battery, and plugged in my 1.5 amp battery tender without the hassle of removing or disconnecting my battery. Easy. On my XTZ, I'm a bit hesitant to do this, I guess because of the additional electronics related to the EFI and so forth. Is it safe to do this? What are you all doing?

Only damage I can see is if you are charging with a high rate charger (above 25 AMPS) and turn on the ignition switch, this could damage some of the computers on board. Just a suggestion, always turn off any charger before turning the key on.

I dont think the little battery tenders put out that many amps so you will be fine.
