Ok,

We have a great little red display. For some reason i can't get it to display MPH, only gear and miles driven...I recieved a manual with it but it was for the prowler xtx...can it display digital MPH? thx

Sorry I didn't explain that to you. It has the same display as the 700 XTX and Arctic Cat didn't come out with another operators manual for the xtz they just sent two pages to keep with it for the xtz specs. The display doesn't show the speed digitally, just on the analog. The analog has three functions MPH, KPH, and RPM. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call me.

My display turns red but no gauge sweep or other info displayed. any suggestions?

yeah, mine too. My speedo worked for a bit, but now the needle doesn't move. In RPM it is fine, but in MPH or KPH it doesn't move. Weird.
