Should I get a 2010 Prowler XTZ1000 or save $500 for a new 2009 model?

The dealer I am buying from is making me a deal of $14,000 OTD for a 2009 XTZ1000 or roughly $500 more for a 2010 model. I am not sure what to do...

I have read about some common problems so far in the 2009 model. Were there any improvements made to the 2010 model or are they both exactly the same except for colors. Please help me decide. Thanks Guys

You should be able to talk them down to $13500.00 out the door for the new one. That's what my dealer was selling the 2009's for when they came out. Good luck and let us know what you do.

wow 13k otd! nice

so 2010 or 2009 for about $500 more is the main question???
I'd spend the extra 500 and get the 2010 model. They did change a couple things that you wouldnt have to worry about if you got the 09 Also you have to think about re-sale value in the future, even though they are both new right now when you try to sell it later the 2010 will always get more money than the 2009. For $500, I would not hesitate to get the 2010. Resale, trade in, and insurance company replacement value will all be higher on the 2010. Then there are some minor changes also (for the better).

I never seem to get the GREAT deals that other folks get; I paid $13,900 - plus tax and dealer fees, plus $600 for an extended warranty. I think that the deal you are being offered on the 2010 is a pretty decent deal!

Now that's a deal, but can you throw in 3.9% financing for him. That's the kicker right now.

ProwlerFan74, you might consider going to a bank or credit union and seeing if they can get you something around 5 or 6% and then consider buying the MCX Prowler. That price really is a good deal.
