changed and gapped plug fuel pump runs no codes set in computer. sometimes it takes right off then the next time it will crank fuel pump will cycle and no fire will crank the same way till voltage drops to low. any thoughts? thanks

Are the battery terminals tight? Use a wrench to snug them up.
Are you getting good spark? Pop the boot off and check the end of the coil for a good connection to the plug.
Check the engine grounds that go to the frame?
Sounds like a loose connection somewhere.

These things are really voltage sensitive, I'd recommend a load test on the battery, if that is good, check your voltage at the starter while cranking itn over, you need to see 10.5 volts minimum
