What a beautiful day for a sled ride. -5c no wind chill and tons of snow. We rode from my house in ste.anne to another small town 55 miles away and picked up another rider. We rode from his house in La salle to another small town called Carman. We had a nice lunch there. All in all today we put o 199 miles and was not -100 degrees out.

Nice pics! I managed to get 130 miles on this past saturday, not as much snow where I'm at but the trails are in good shape. What size Cat are you riding Rob?

I on a 2011 Z! 1056cc four stroke non turbo. It's not a rocket ship but is very reliable. I also have factory installed remote start. I have close to 6000 miles on it and have no problems.

Right on! very nice sled.. I've been looking at the new Cat 1100 turbos pretty seriously for my next sled, I'm currently running a yamaha four stroke. Not as snappy as a two stroke but really good on fuel and reliable...kinda.. haha I just had to rebuild my yammy at 13000 miles... seems the previous owner may have done some bad things to it.. Just gotta convince my wife to let me put another cat in the garage after all the work I've had to do to my prowler..ha

I looked at a turbo cross tour I like that machine but I just can't do it with the uncertainty of my current job. I maybe out of work in a year so don't want to make the investment when this one works just as well.
