As I indicated in a previous thread, I cooked the bearings in my Prowler a week ago (coolant and oil rads plugged by snow during long plowing session--I was watching plow and not watching instrument display). Local dealer is estimating $4000 (Canadian) to rebuild engine (includes replacing belts, also), divided about 50/50 between parts and labour.

Are there any rebuilt engines out there which would come with some kind of warranty? I live in the Yukon and would need to be able to be absolutely confident that anything I bought and had shipped up was dependable.

There is a guy on arcticchat.com that has motors for sale. $1800 for one with 75 miles on it. you may want to check with him.
