I have just bought a 2010 Prowler xtz 1000 with only 1700 miles on it. It seemed to run nice but then things started to happen. When I got it home I noticed that the antifreeze was low in the tank. Filled it up. Rad level looked ok. Checked the bleeder screw on top of the motor and had fluid come out. While out riding one day it started to miss or cut out. Not been able to stop. I slowed down and got off the road a few minutes later. Now this is where it get interesting. My Speedo was bouncing back and forth between min to max. The oil and temp were flashing. After further inspection I found out the oil level was over full. Changed the oil. Ran it for apx 5 miles. Problems stated again. But now I get a "E" where the shift read out is and the 4x4 lights up. Engine still misses. And now it is doing it right at startup. Tried resetting the relays and fuses. No change. And suggestions or ideas would be a great help.
