Hey folks, I want to put 10.5" wide tires on all 4 corners (27'' tall). I am going to get 2 wheels that match my stock 14's. Here's my question, do I get 2 that match the rear size or the front size. (does that make sense to ya)?
I want to put 4 wheels/tires all the same size on all 4 corners so I can get a matching tire/wheel. My stock wheels are 14'' aluminum with the AC Green outline in the cutouts... Any help is appreciated!

lots have done it , suggest matching the fronts all around, as rear size width will rub used up front.

I'm going to do it too eventually , but using something like BFG's truck tires for summer use, don't need the extra soft knobbies around here with the hard pan and thick dust .. I run rocker ubers now and have a ton of tread left plus have a spare set so no hurry yet.

I had a feeling the fronts were the way to go, majority of my riding is back woods with a little fire roads when needed.... I can always find some goo to play in no matter what time of year (winter can be a challenge though).
I'm leaning towards highlifter outlaws 27x10.5-14.

tires

the one thing your gonna notice is a change in power with the 650,unless you have some clutch work done a 10.5 in a aftermarket tire is wider than the stock 11''that come on the back, plus your going up in height also.just depends on how much power you care to lose.is your motor all stock.:)

Beside the weight of the tires hurting your speed CVs Axles etc the wide tires on the front will make the front end wander (hunt) more on the trails

Right now I'm running Mud Light XTR's 27'', top speed is not a concern. I didn't buy it for speed. I didn't realize the 10.5 would be that wide... gonna have to change direction I think. Clutch kit is on "the to do list" too. :D

top speed

If your not worried about speed you can do some clutch work to have power to turn those big tires without being so hard on your axles and diffs.:)

I can, but she's a rough old bird and not worth dumping huge money into. So I'm probably only gonna get a clutch kit from EPI (or other) at the most.
