Sorry for the duplication, I posted these in my intro

44 arctic cat

Is the primary nut a left hand thread? How do you separate the secondary without the bolt hole to push the clutch apart? How high should the belt ride in the secondary, and how do you know when to replace it?

I replied to a couple of your questions in your other thread.

The only left hand thread is the nut holding on your wet clutch. The primary is standard. See if your secondary has a hole at all. My 2006 did not have a "threaded" hole, but it did have a hole. If yours is like mine, take an M6x1.0 tap and thread the hole yourself (same thread size as your outer cover bolts). No drilling or extra work required. Then you will be able to separate the secondary with a bolt.
