I have a 2006 Prowler Articat. I actually bought it used in 2006. It's been very dependable except for the battery charging system. It's been through 3 batteries since I've owned it. I finally bought a trickle charger for it but if I don't use it the battery will go dead within a month. Last week I had it out to move a boat trailer up an incline. Using the front trailer hitch mount I had to engage the 4wd to pull it in reverse. I noticed when I hit the 4wd button it did not make the usual noise and only the rear wheels were spinning. Called the local dealer and he said it was probably the 4wd actuator. He said to check and clean the connections. Can someone tell me where the heck the actuator is located??! Photos would be great.
Thanks,
B Lee

It's on the front diff. There will be wires going to it. Do a search, seems like there have been several posts about it. I had to take mine apart and clean connections. Had to do the switch too.
