Hello, bought a 2009 Arctic Cat XTX 700 the other day to use Turkey hunting this Spring. Around Broken Bow Nebraska. Needed info on adjusting Park-Brake. Got some info so getting after it right away. Not too many metric tools but will get some Located Shortly! Thank you very much. Gary H.

Take the arm off the parking brake caliper, turn the shaft clock wise to tighten the pads up, and re-install the arm. You may have to drop the skid plate to get enough room to work on it. Service Manuals for your prowler are available online. Someone on the forum will direct you. I also have a 2009 XTX, it is a great machine! The procedure I outlined is per the manual. Hope it helps! Now to the important part! Welcome to the forum, we are here to help, and socialize! Great group of owners here!
