I purchased a new 2007 Prowler 650 and now have over 200 miles on it. I am due for an oil change. I looked through the manual and I see it has a picture of where the oil filter is, which appears to be hard to get to. I do not see a picture of where the oil plug is. Can someone give me a general location? Can you get at it without removing the protective shield below the engine? Can you get at it without putting the UV on a ramp? Any other suggestions for making it easier to change oil would be appreciated.

IT makes less mess when you drop skid plate down out of your way,You will see the drain plug under the engine ,also oil filter does loose a little oil out of it when you change it, skid plate will collect that oil, so I just find it easy to drop skid plate down to change oil.Good luck.
