ok, decided to go outside and re-tighten all the nuts and bolts a/c forgot to tighten. got to the rear sway bar thingy and IMO they were really loose. just wondering how tight they should be??? snugged up? or loose??? i tightened them and i got like an inch and a half of thread out the bottom. kinda weird, havent driven it like that yet cuz i thought i should check out what you guys think. thanks

Well I don't know for sure but I'd think the extra length you had was for cranking them down tighter, making it stiffer.

Take it for a spin and let us know.

They should be the same as most cars. The sway bar links should be tightened enough to put tension on the rubber bumpers, Dont over tighten,You dont want to reef on them and flatten the bumpers that will cause them to wear out much faster. So, just tighten them till the rubber hits then 2-3 more cranks that should be fine.
