I've been on here for a while now but have never gotten around to posting any pictures of my HDX. So here we go.

The four flood lights work really well to illuminate the area around the HDX which really comes in handy ice fishing. Everything is mounted below the roof line or inside the roof since many trails I am on have low hanging trees. Put a couple hundred miles on with the lights installed and no issues so far. And as you can tell from the water spots on the inside of the roof panel there have been occasional trips through some waterholes and everything has held up really well.

The wiring for the lights has soldered and shrink wrapped connections and is run inside flexible conduit. The lights inside the roll cage are mounted directly to the cage using longer than stock rated bolts so the integrity of the cage isn't compromised. They are also mounted high enough so that helmets don't smash them unless someone is really tall.

If you look at the brake light housing you will notice the dome light I installed. The lighted switch for it is located where the parking brake used to be located. 2013's don't have parking brakes but the dash remained unchanged so it seemed like a good spot for it.

One other mod that I did was relocate one of the 12V outlets to the glove box. This was I can have my phone plugged in and still stay mostly dry and clean. To plug the hole I installed a Voltmeter so I can always keep an eye on the charging voltage. Picture is a little blurry but you should be able to see the outlet on the left hand side of the glove box. Mounting it here I didn't have to extend the factory wires.

Lastly, for moving leaves and brush last fall I built a wooden box with a two piece tailgate. It is about 4'x5'x4' so it holds a pretty good amount of leaves.

Nice price on those lights, beats the heck out of paying for Rigid lights.

I use the same lite on mine for a back up lite. They are very well made, and you can't beat the price!

Yeah, think they are pretty solidly made. May not have a lifetime warranty but for that price I could replace the lights quite a few times.

Ain't that the truth! With the limited amount of time I use mine (BU Light!) it should out last me! LOL
