When I step on the gas there is a high pitched horrible squealing sound like a belt slipping or something. It seems to be worse after it runs for a while. Once you pick up some speed, the sound seems to disappear. It also has been leaving a trial if blackish drops on the snow, but I don't know if these two things are related. Any advice on what can be wrong? Maybe some kind of an oil leak near the clutch? This Prowler has about 75 miles on it and is just a few months old. We have been working it pretty hard pushing snow lately.

thanks

I am just disassembling ours now. When you have it in H it slips like a ***** and barely moves. In low gear or Reverse it will go. Was leaving a black puddle also. When I spilt the case half off, the inside case is oaked in blaack oil (is Oil from the trans Mixed with belt material me thinks). Is the main seal behind the back clutch drum leaking I think in my case.
