Hey y’all, I’m wondering if y’all would be willing to share some wisdom with me?

I have a 2010 Arctic cat prowler 700 XTX

I had to move it outside for a couple months, (under a tarp) for some other projects in my garage and now after putting a new battery it won’t start again.

I drained the fuel tank and checked the fuel injector, the fuel pump and the throttle cable. All look as though they are working as intended.

I am also getting spark from the plug and coil.

I also cleaned the carburetor out

And now I’m officially stumped haha.

When I spray starter fluid straight into the carb it will take a second to kick over and then it will run for about 30 seconds but at a heavy idle and then just die as though it’s out of fuel.

Any and all thoughts are appreciated!

After digging into more of the forms I’m starting to notice a lot of people are starting to have the same problem. Most of them all come back to the timing chain or belt so I will look into that
