I have a 2009 prowler xtx 700 and was thinking about installing wheel spacers. Good or bad idea. Stock wheels and tire size. I ride in the Yuma Arizona desert and it is a little squirrelly at times through the sand.

Thanks

I run them on the rear of mine. I like the back tires to be out further than the front.

what tire pressure are you using ? .. I have many Parker Az miles under my belt so similar type sand washes and such .. IMHO the spacers are not a best friend of our units but that said every one has their own ideas .. I believe that the spaced tire wheel will cause undo stress and eventually cause a failure of some type AGAIN MY BELIEF as many use them for long periods with no issues.

in soft powered sand tire pressure is your best friend many run down in the 5 to 8 pound range some even use bead locks to keep the tire on. also speed helps in powder sand . low speed and it is squirrelly also if going slow use low gear as high will eventually cause excessive belt heat and slippage again best friend in sand washes is speed and always best conditions are after a good rain where the water has smoothed down the washes getting rid of the washboards caused from the buggies and 4x4's tire speeds ya have to get on top of all that with speed.
