Hi My name is Tim Wilde I live in Anchorage, Alaska, I ride Arctic Cat's I've got a 650 H2, 375, and two smaller atv's for my grandson's.

I'am interested in buying a prowler, don't know to much on how they handle.

Would like some info on the prowler.

Thank You

Welcome to the site Wildman.
Pretty confident that they are one of the safest utv's out there as far as roll over accidents. One of the widest utv's you can buy.
They handle pretty good in my opinion for slow to medium speed trails riding. If you want to go fast they are not terrible at speed but no corvette. The prowler was just more comfortable for me to sit in.On the others my knees were too close to dash. You sit up higher in the prowler and that works better for me personally. If you are a taller or bigger person you mind have the same results.

Welcome to the site. I chose the Prowler due to how well I sat behind of the wheel compared to the Rhino or Ranger. Good luck with your purchase!

Welcome to the site. If you are running from a polar bear you will like it better than a rhino, he would catch you in that.

I have a daughter and son-in-law in Palmer. Small world. Because a UTV is a big ticket item for me, I took several weeks and studied them all before I bought my prowler. The Tyrex and Rhino seemed too narrow and unstable for I and my wife. They also didn't have the ground clearence of the prowler. I liked the Rzr, but we are hunters and I didn't think I could get out of it fast enough to shoot game - also, there wasn't room to carry much. The Polaris is a nice machine, but we both prefer the bucket seats of the Prowler. The mule is stable and has a diesel, but it has no speed and not the greatest of seating. Also, the Prowler looked good! It felt stable, carried a good amount of gear, had great ground clearence, and felt safe for us old folk. Plus they offered our Prowler 650 XT for a good price - not a steal, but they gave a little.
